The Boulder Chorale has a rich history rooted in the Boulder community. In 1966, a group of local musicians came together to provide choral music for productions of the Boulder Civic Opera. The chorus members so enjoyed singing together that they decided to perform their own concerts. Over forty years later, the Boulder Chorale has developed into an organization supporting three choruses serving children and adults, an active board of directors, a professional artistic and administrative staff, and a roster of well over 100 active members. At the heart of the Chorale remains the same joy of singing and love for the choral art that inspired our first members over four decades ago.
