We continue the Boulder Chamber Chorale’s collaboration with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra for this rarely performed and magnificent choral work by Beethoven.

The Penguin Guide to Compact Discs calls the piece for four soloists, chorus and orchestra a “long-underrated masterpiece,” while critic Michael Moore wrote “it has a directness and an emotional content that the “Missa Solemnis” sometimes lacks.”
