Thank you for your interest in the Boulder Children’s Chorale! Our organization consists of four ensembles for students from kindergarten through ninth grade. We focus on helping expose children to diverse, quality choral repertoire while building their abilities as musicians and a love for singing!

Since our inaugural season in 2009, Boulder Children’s Chorale has frequently collaborated with professional musicians and ensembles including CU Opera, the Boulder Philharmonic, MahlerFest Colorado, Colorado Music Festival, and performances with The Nutcracker at Macky Auditorium. We have sung throughout Boulder and the Denver Metro area and have toured to several Children’s Choir Festivals in the United States. With a heavy emphasis on music education and building children’s individual talents, the BCC choirs help singers of all ages and abilities thrive!

Piccolini –  Director, Melody Sebald

Non-auditioned, entry level choir for kindergarten and first graders.
In Piccolini (“little ones”), singers learn the basics of healthy singing and singing in a choir. This choir sings in unison and performs at each of our BCC concerts, the Holiday Gala, and one or more community outreach event throughout the season.
Rehearsals: Longmont    Tuesdays  4:30-5:15PM
Tuition Per Semester: $230 + registration fee
1/2 Semester Tuition: October – December only $115 + registration fee

Rehearsals: Boulder    Thursdays  4:15-5:00 PM
Tuition Per Semester: $230 + registration fee
1/2 Semester Tuition: October – December only $115 + registration fee

Prima Voce – Director, Anna Robinson

Non-auditioned, entry level choir for students in 2nd-the 5th grades.
Prima Voce (“first voice”) singers continue to work on vocal development, through more challenging repertoire and vocal exercises. Students receive instruction in basic music theory, learning to read music from choral scores, and sing in two- and three-part harmony. This choir performs at all BCC concerts, the Holiday Gala, and one or more community outreach events each the season.
Rehearsals: Longmont  Tuesdays  5:30-6:30PM
Tuition Per Semester: $240 + registration fee

Rehearsals: Boulder  Thursdays  5:15-6:15 PM
Tuition Per Semester: $240 + registration fee

Volante – Director, Larisa Dreger

By audition for students in the 4th-8th grades.
In Volante (“Soaring”), more emphasis is placed on helping singers learn to sing in harmony and read traditional musical notation. This choir performs at all BCC concerts, the Holiday Gala, and one or more community outreach events each year.
Rehearsals: Boulder  Thursdays  5:00-6:15 PM
Tuition Per Semester: $260 + registration fee

Bel Canto – Director, Nathan Wubbena

Our top ensemble for students in grades 6-9. By Audition Only.
Bel Canto (“Beautiful Singing”) singers perform in 2, 3 and 4 part harmony while working to develop strong musicianship and music theory skills. They perform at all BCC concerts, the Holiday Gala and several community outreach events each season. They are also often featured in performances by the Boulder Chorale’s adult ensembles.
Rehearsals: Boulder  Thursdays  4:30-6:15 PM
Tuition Per Semester: $280 + registration fee

Family Discount: First student is full price. After the first student, families with two or more singers in BCC will receive a discount of $25.00 per semester for each additional child registered.
