Thank you for your interest in the Boulder Children’s Chorale Bravo! Vail Tour 2024!

We would love to have your Singer join us this summer! We had such an amazing time last summer that we decided to offer this unique opportunity again!

Boulder Children’s Chorale will be a part of Young Musicians Days at the Bravo!Vail Music Festival, collaborating with Music Makers Haciendo Musica and other classical music organizations in Colorado to inspire musical curiosity and create meaningful connections through music.

Dates: June 19 – 22, 2024
Who: All current 5th-9th grade singers
Where: Vail, CO

What Can We Expect?

Get Training to improve your vocal technique as you prepare for Young Musicians Days
Enjoy a guest workshop with a professional musician
Connect with new young singers and orchestral musicians
Experience a live professional orchestra performance at Bravo!Vail Music Festival
Have Fun Exploring the beauty of Eagle County
Perform! Young Musicians Days culminates with a student performance

Tour Information Meeting: November 2nd, 2023 6:10 – 6:30pm

Auditions – (For Singers not currently with the BCC in either Volante or Bel Canto):
Thursday’s at 6pm by appointment. Alternative days can be arranged as well.

What is the Time Commitment?

Weekly Thursday rehearsals in May and June from ~4:30 – 6pm at Atonement Lutheran Church in Boulder

Wed June 19th: Travel, Fun at Copper Mountain Resort, Dinner & Rehearsal
Thursday June 20th: Meet orchestral musicians, Begin rehearsals, Enjoy performance at The Gerald Ford Amphitheater of Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony
Friday June 21st: Rehearsal, Enjoy workshop by famous professionals (potentially with Esperanza Fernandez), Potential community concert event
Saturday June 22nd: Dress rehearsal, Afternoon Performance

Families are encouraged to stay up in Vail to attend a complimentary symphony performance that night at The Amp of Spanish & Latin music, including singer Esperanza Fernandez and flamenco dancers!

What is the Financial Commitment?

~$800

  • Actual cost will vary depending upon how many students register as there are shared costs and more students will decrease the overall cost for everyone
  • Fundraising will be available for individual singers to participate in to lower costs not only for themselves, but for the overall cost as well.
  • Financial Aid is available to interested Young Singers in need. Just ask! children@boulderchorale.org
  • 50% deposit at registration payable in whole or installments
